Use this Allopurinol Desensitization regimen to help your patients with gout who cannot tolerate allopurinol.  This regimen was first described by Dr. Adel Fam and all credit for this is in his honour.  We have included the references below to Dr. Fam's original articles.  There are a number of case reports in the literature reporting success with this regimen.
